111 -- 125
April 11, 2011It's been a while since I linked up with Ann on Mondays. Today, more than anything, I needed to take a few minutes at my desk to write out on yellow Post-It notes my gratitude. I am more than ready for June 8, more than ready to say goodbye to this school year, more than ready to say hello to quiet mornings while girls sleep in, more than ready to steep myself in the relaxed flow of days June and July bring.
111. Buds, blooms, and all things green and growing
112. The hum of the air conditioner and average monthly billing
113. Sunday evening church
114. Positive teenage role models their friendships with my girls
115. Jamie and Parker Jane shooting up targets nailed to a tree
116. Lilah's growing independence i.e. buckling her own seatbelt
117. Picking up Pizza Parlour on a Friday evening after a long week
118. The Joy of Cooking -- our cooking bible
119. Lunch with Mom -- although I don't remember all of it
120. A new sundress for spring pictures (Lilah)
121. Bright blue nailpolish and little girl toes
122. Sunshine on my shoulders
123. Stormy nights -- the best kind of sleeping weather
124. Sharing in the excitement of my brother-in-law's new vehicle purchase which is especially sweet considering he drove the "Silver Bullet" for 8 years
125. That same brother-in-law in the company of our favorite of his former girlfriends : )

I love all the buds and blooms beginning. Lunch with your mom sounds wonderful. Bright blue nail polish... too fun! :) Great list of gifts!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jennifer! I was just at your blog this afternoon and when I saw your comment I thought, "That's the jelly jar picture blog!" What a great capture! I should clarify that I don't remember much of that lunch with my mom b/c she'd had to be my driver for a procedure I'd had that morning. I was a little loopy : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun list....bright blue nailpolish on little toes and sunshine on shoulders. Fantastic!
